The direct sowing continues…..today it’s all about the beans, both climbing and bush varieties, with old favourites like Gigantes and some lovely new types to try……….and the chickpeas, one of my all time favourite vegetables to both grow and scoff.

Hi, Vivi. Are your gigantes a form of lima bean? I tried looking for seed on the net and some of the beans called gigante were lima and some didn’t specify a type, just that they originated in Greece.
I believe so, yes. I hope you manage to get some seed. They really are a lovely bean. 🙂
