On the Sofa: Catch-up during Covid.

This year is turning into a bit of a turkey! Hahaha…..just when I was trying to get the garden finished I came down with Covid. Here I’m having a bit of a chat and a catch-up and talking through some changes of plan to accommodate this latest glitch.

On the Sofa: Podding & Chatting.

I’m delighted with the first bit of my broad bean harvest and now it’s time to get the precious beans podded and frozen pronto. Podding ought to be done around the kitchen table with friends and lots of chat…..but in the absence of that I’m doing it with you and chatting as we go. Vivi’s Kitchen Garden: Sowing Protein.

I’m very late, I’m very behind….but I am determined to start sowing my most important crops…the protein! Beans and chickpeas are going in direct where I have beds ready……where the beds aren’t ready I’ll get them going in pots. This is all by the skin of my teeth!

Beyond Frugal: On-line selling/starting a business.

Ok…this is a REALLY long one. I hadn’t intended it to be but there is a lot to cover. It’s almost in two halves…..I talk about selling on-line for getting rid of clutter/old clothes etc……and then selling on-line for your cottage industry, in other words, selling your crafts/home-produced cosmetics etc. and launching your own business. I hope you will find the information and ideas useful and will feel encouraged to have a go.
