Vegetable Plotter – Dr Hessayon. 34 pp in stiff card covers, published 1976. Excellent condition (never used but the top edge of the front cover is scuffed). A lovely little extra from Dr Hessayon (you may be familiar with his ‘Expert’ series), as it says on the cover ‘begins by telling you what to do in the vegetable plot…ends by providing a permanent record of your growing year’. Each page details how to grow each vegetable from soil prep, through sowing and care to harvest with notes on varieties to try and a calendar for sowing, planting and harvesting. Each page also has space for your own notes to record variety, taste and yield. A charming item in remarkably excellent condition for something nearly half a century old.
