It’s the end of month 54, the end of October and the end of British Summer Time as our clocks went back last night. Waking up to a howling gale and lashing rain it certainly does feel like the door has closed on one season….and opened up on winter. Today I am taking stock, mentally, of all the food I’ve managed to produce this year and get stored and generally asking myself if I am ready for winter.
