Patchwork organic Lavender bags

Each lavender bag is made with a whole lot of love. The organic lavender is hand harvested in the late summer after the bees have finished enjoying it and is then hung to air dry naturally before each little flower is picked from the stem by hand. The patchwork bags use a combination of vintage and new fabrics in cottons, cut by hand and arranged and rearranged until the perfect (to me, at least) combination happens. The fronts of the bags are patchworked and the reverse is a single piece of coordinating fabric. The bags measure approximately 16 cm square with a generous 50g stuffing of the lavender. The bags are all finished by hand with a small seam at the bottom……in years to come if you want to refresh the lavender this little hand-sewn seam will be easy to re-open in order to swap the flowers for some fresher stock…..perhaps from your own garden. Yes, definitely ‘made with love’.
