It has been another busy and eclectic week for me. Join me with a cuppa for a catch-up on all that’s been going on and the little steps taken this week to get me nearer to moving house. I’m also reflecting on this winter and managing without much heat…..and inflation in general.
Things are a little bit chaotic at home but I’m trying to ignore the mess and get on with some sewing work and other work. It’s washing machine delivery day number two…….hopefully this time it will actually happen.
Before I put my flat on the market I want to renovate some parts including the kitchen. I was going to start on it next week but as I have a new washing machine due to arrive I thought I’d get stuck in today. The first job is to start clearing the furniture out and finding a new home for one of my freezers.
It’s a chatty one; snippets from my High Street, time with a friend, a few quid spent, laughing like a drain….and some books, one of which sparks a beautiful memory. Grab a cuppa, put your feet up and let’s hang out for a while.
Finally I get back to the land! It’s time to asses the work that needs to be done and see if my plan on paper will work on the ground. It’s going to be a very different garden this year with different ways of sowing my seeds and this will affect timings…..so I need to get my head around it all!
