Goodness me, time flies……it doesn’t seem like 44 months…..but never mind that, haha, there’s a bigger Elephant in the room to consider. Yes, deep breath, it’s time to say goodbye to 2020 on the most positive note possible.
Month: December 2020
Happy Christmas 2020!
Happy Christmas everyone! Join me for a rambling natter, don your Christmas hat, pour yourself something lovely….and grab a gift to open with me.
Christmas Eve: Gentle garden time.
The last window on the calendar and then making the most of the last few rays of sunshine with some very quiet time in the garden.
Advent Day 23: A new bed.
After opening the penultimate window on the calendar I carry on in the garden. Another small job but one which gets me excited for next year.
Advent Day 22: Myriad little garden jobs.
A rare dry day sees me racing off to the garden…….there are so many little jobs to do….really little jobs…..they are a joy to get stuck in to.
Advent Day 21: Fixing it myself.
Another damp squib of a day sees me getting on with things indoors…….including a minor fix for my boiler……if I can remember how!
Advent Day 20: Twinkling lights.
The days are short, the clouds are heavy and dark, it could feel really rather gloomy……but……there are so many lovely lights twinkling all around.
Advent Day 19: A soggy harvest.
I had planned for a full day in the garden……..amongst other jobs I wanted to do some harvesting…..
Advent Day 18: The Great Conjunction.
During a bonkers busy day I take some time out to get on with some ‘pressing matters’ and start to feel excited about tomorrow’s celestial happening.
Advent Day 17: Treats for a tenner!
After opening another window on the advent calendar I go off to my High street to see what treats I can find for Christmas for a tenner (£10).
