Continuing from my last video when I let you know I have given up my garden…….today I am talking about time as money. How much did I ‘earn’ by growing my own food? How will I now find the money to buy all the veggies I haven’t grown? A checks and balances hard look at where my time goes and where I need to make changes.

Continuing from my small changes, big savings video I have done some more maths today regarding savings made by not purchasing certain items……it’s quite astonishing! Also my March purchases that were not food related……one of which introduces my ethical shopping.

Today I’m chatting about a few little things that I do which save a LOT of money over time……some simple swaps for you to try…….and a new habit to put into practice. Today’s little things save me £100s of pounds every year!!

Three books for you today….all of them gorgeous! Including the one my sister ‘gave’ to me as a belated Christmas gift. The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben, Through the Woods by H. E. I love curries and make them often……a great way to pack in loads of veg, use up odds and ends…..and they taste so good. Today I am making a cauliflower curry using the ‘free’ kit I got from ‘Simply Cook’. I can’t wait to give it a go!

Today I am diving into my fabric stash……..a lot of them are earmarked for specific projects but I’m wondering if there are some pieces I can let go….. Oops, I’m getting distracted…..the whole reason for diving in today is because I need some fabric for a project to finish off the hall makeover…. I’m also demonstrating winding a bobbin on and threading the machine….as requested.
