One of my favourite soups; quick, easy, nutritious and Frugal! It’s especially frugal if you buy your lentils in bulk…..even better if you can grow some of the veggies yourself. Can I beat the price of the cheapest tinned soup by making it myself?….

Another day of playing catch-up with myriad errands and phone calls. One of my jobs today is to organise a removal firm for my move……plus; chatting about my new back garden and a book which prompted thoughts around my sleep problems……

I’m trying a new recipe today and chatting as I chop and cook. Come and hang out with me in the kitchen for a while and let’s make a winter root soup to warm us on these damp, grey days. At less than 50p a portion I’ll certainly be making it again. Oh, and, as requested…..a snoop inside my last remaining freezer…..
