On the Sofa: Postbag chat & hospital results.

After a busy couple of weeks I’m taking a moment to sit and chat. I’ve had some lovely post over the last few weeks which I’d like to share plus other catch-up chat….and I’ve been back to the hospital for some follow up after the horrible lung infection over the winter. Vivi’s Kitchen Garden: Seedlings, quantities & timings.

It’s time to get on with some more seed sowing; today it’s tomatoes and Nepeta Cataria (Catnip)….it should also have been squash but they’re delayed by a day. I’m also checking on my sweet pepper seedlings and getting them ready for their next stage. As I tend to these things I chat about planning my timings and quantities etc and the importance of my notebook! Toms and Nepeta sown 18th of April.

Planted Wednesday 13th of April.

Vivi’s Kitchen Garden: The herb bed revamp begins.

The herb bed has been looking a bit tatty for a while now and some plants simply have not thrived there……..so, today, I’m starting in on revamping it….out with the old and in with the new! While I’m at this end of the garden I also tend to the plants on the deck and the little areas around the coldframe. It’s great to make a start.

On the Sofa: A day in the life… part one.

It’s a rainy, cold day so I’m getting on with things indoors. Come and hang out with me while I tackle myriad eclectic jobs…….parcels, printers and potting on amongst them. This is part one (it was a long day!)…part two to follow soon.
