It’s time to open another window on the advent calendar……well, two actually as we have the 5th to open as well. And I receive some lovely post from my sister.
Month: December 2020
Vivi’s Kitchen Garden: December Garden Tour (2020).
It’s the beginning of December and time to take a stroll around the garden to see what’s still growing……and to see where the little jobs are.
Advent Day 4: First Nations/Influences
An advent calendar window opening and a random conversation with a friend in Canada got me thinking……and got me fishing out some treasure.
Advent Day 3: A bit of a garden tidy.
After a few weeks of neglect I show the garden a bit of love with some tidying……and while I’m at it I can spot the next jobs that need doing. It was a chilly day but the light was glorious and kept stopping me in my tracks!
Advent Day 2: How did the garden fare without me?
After a fairly lengthy absence from the garden I can’t wait to see how things have got on without me. I’m particularly keen to check in on the broad beans and the transplanted Taunton Deane (perennial kale).
Advent day 1: The first window and I change a blade.
Hurray! It’s time to open the first window on my bookish advent calendar……and then time to get on with a little challenge for myself….changing the blade on my rotary cutter. Join me for a little countdown to Christmas.
