Over the last six months I have made a number of new year’s resolutions….though it may be more apt to call them ‘new me resolutions’…..one of which was to quit sugar. Today I’m chatting about how I’ve tackled them and how I’m feeling now for doing them all.

Today I’m starting in the kitchen getting a chilli (meat-free, soya-free, Quorn free) underway before a natter about, amongst other things, flea market finds, a rant about annoying acting/actor habits and my latest DVD watches….one of which bowled me over and will stay with me for a long time.

A lovely dinner (or supper……or lunch) to make using ingredients only from the store cupboard (pantry or larder). Perfect for when you can’t get out to the shops…..or when the fridge is looking bare by the end of the week.

I’m still on the roller-coaster ride that is home buying/selling in the UK! I’ve cheered myself up with a house-warming gift to myself – if I keep believing it will happen maybe it will…….I’ll fake it ’til I make it… And a wonderful surprise in the post that makes me squeal with delight.

I’m doing some batch cooking (as usual) and chatting as I go…about myriad things including the fabulousness of Edamame beans, a recent hospital visit and some (almost cringey) 80s TV. Get your walking shoes on or grab a cuppa and sit back with me while I cook and natter.
