Now that the roof work has been completed I can get back out there to remove moss, check the gutters and clean the windows……including the little one which hasn’t ever been cleaned and will require a few ‘tools’. It’s a scorching day…….come and join me outside on the roof (I won’t drop you!).

Eek…..there are some big items I need to buy and, having hardly done any shopping for years, I’m preparing to be shocked at prices. And I was! Of course I will shop around….. Also thoughts on cleaning gadgets and some deep cleaning…..and the shopping I did manage to do.

A day of errands and admin…..and things don’t go to plan. BUT…..a wonderful moment of serendipity which sparks lovely memories of childhood birthdays with my Sister.

I need to do some pressing so I’ll have a chatty catch up with you at the same time. The last couple of weeks; birthday, excitement, election late night, thoughts on growing older and wiser (??!!), memories of childhood toys and games…….monkey bars!…..and more…..

After a busy, messy, long day of shuffling, sorting, stashing and cleaning it’s time to tie up a few loose ends……time to sort out the odds and ends to make the flat presentable.
