Vivi’s Kitchen Garden 240: Stored produce & the value of my harvest (it’s a shocker!).

Today I take a look at all the produce I have stored to keep me going over the winter and into next spring…..come along and have a nosy in my freezers and cupboards…. I also do a tot-up of the value of my produce as if I had bought it all from the shops….the result is quite a shock!

  1. fantastic Vivvi, I am so impressed with your harvest and its value. Really its priceless, what you have given in time, passion and the integrity you have shown the land, mother nature has responded in abundance, its a two way exchange. You have been an inspiration. Thankyou

    1. Oh thank you so much for your kind words. I try to put love into everything I do, including the garden…..and it never ceases to amaze me how much that love comes back ten-fold. I am truly grateful for my little patch of dirt and everything it gives to me. 😀

  2. Vivi, were do you do your food shopping other that your garden?

    1. I have a lot of small shops local to me to choose from…..I try to avoid the big supermarkets. One of my favourite shops is a Turkish market where I can can bulk buy rice and lentils for example and all manner of herbs, spices and bottled stuff. 🙂
