After a two and a half week absence I return to the garden….with some trepidation. Two and a half weeks wouldn’t be a problem in winter….but in the height of the growing season it is such a long time. Did my plants survive? Do I have blight? Will the garden be overrun with weeds? Will there be anything to eat yet? Come with me and discover, in real time, the answers….

Hi Vivi,
Your meal planning today took me over to your courgette and potato soup, I’ve been gifted a couple of courgettes, so thank you for your recipe. I’m just wondering, I also have a glut of pretty jam jars and wondered if I could use these to freeze the soup.
Thanks for all your very informative and interesting video’s, I think with the state of this world at the moment many people will be looking at ways to feed themselves and their families on a budget.
God Bless,
Kim x
I do, sometimes, freeze in old jam jars……just make sure to leave about an inch of head space between the top of the soup and the lid. Yay for gifted courgettes and a super simple yummy way to use them. Happy soup making. π
Thanks Viv
