Beyond Frugal: Tomato Soup. Shop bought vs Homemade.

There’s nothing more comforting on a cold, damp day than a bowl of hot soup……one of my favourites is tomato soup. A simple, humble soup that, surely, can be made for a fraction of the price that a tin of the stuff costs at a supermarket? Today I am putting that question to the test….and with all the ingredients bought from a shop rather than using my veggies from the garden (to show how it can be done for those without a garden). But…..at the end…..I will reveal the cost for those of us with a garden and it will possibly shock you!
