A combination of missing my garden and some books I have read this year have made me have some new (and old) thoughts about the way I shop. Today I’m chatting (and batch cooking) about organic food, food waste, ultra-processed foods, food miles….and food for my gut microbiome.

  1. Perhaps try making sauerkraut with one head of cabbage and see how you like it. I find its very different than ones you find in a jar/can. You could use some of the whey from yogurt to start the lacto fermented version.

    1. Eek……really not sure about trying it. 😉
